Accessibility Policy
We know how important it is to make our websites and products accessible to all. Because of that, we’re proud to design our websites and products to conform with Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (''WCAG 2.1'').
Our websites are generally compatible with all primary screen reader software programs currently in use. In certain cases, webpages may not be compatible with these screen readers where the page contains archived material or where the content is under the control of a third party. Similarly, products which have no user interface, or which are in maintenance mode (e.g., sunsetted or discontinued), may not be compatible.
From time to time, we may ‘white-label’ third party products. This means that we apply our branding to the product of a third party. Because we do not have direct control over the development of those products, we cannot give assurances that they will conform with WCAG 2.1. While we endeavor to work with suppliers who do conform, in certain cases they may not.
We will always monitor the accessibility of our products and websites. Any new website content created by our internal web development team, plus any new products developed by us, will be accessible in conformance with Level AA of the WCAG 2.1.
On top of this, over the next 12 months, we will update our websites for all major non-English speaking markets to conform with Level AA of the WCAG 2.1.
As part of our commitment to make our websites and products accessible to all users, CCleaner has established a dedicated steering committee, comprising Avast employees and front-line accessibility stakeholders to formulate the accessibility strategy for the business, establish compliance targets, and monitor ongoing compliance with Level AA of the WCAG 2.1.
For any questions, feedback, or issues regarding the accessibility of our websites or products, please contact us at: accessibility@ccleaner.com.
